UFC Vegas 66 Fight Card, Cannonier vs Strickland

UFC Vegas 66 Fight Card, Cannonier vs Strickland is set to take stage this Saturday on ESPN+. The fights will be held at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, NV at 6:00PM CST with the prelims starting at 3:00PM CST on Saturday, December 17, 2022.
The main event on the fight card is #3 Jared Cannonier vs #7 Sean Strickland in the middleweight division. Both fighters are coming off of losses at their last fights. Cannonier lost a unanimous decision to then champion Israel Adesanya in July. Strickland suffered a first round KO/TKO to current champion Alex Pereira. This fight will have plenty of implications in the middleweight division, with the winner looking at a possible title fight against the winner of an inevitable Pereira vs Adesanya rematch.
The co-main event of the evening features top ranked lightweights #9 Arman Tsarukyan vs #12 Damir Ismagulov. Arman Tsarukyan looks to get back on track after losing a decision, in a fight of the night against Mateusz Gamrot in June. Damir Ismagulov won his last fight in a split decision against Guram Kutateladze also in June increasing his run to an impressive 19 straight wins.
