The UFC Fight Night Ortega vs Rodriguez fight card is all set to go down Saturday, July 16, 2022 at the UBS Arena in Elmont, NY. This one is headlined by two top 5 contenders in the featherweight division, #2 Brian Ortega faces off against #3 Yair Rodriguez.

Alexander Volkanovski would be a likely opponent for the winner, based on rankings, however, Ortega and Volkanovski met in September of last year, where Volkanovski won by a unanimous decision. It could be worth running that back and see if they can keep it out of the judges hands.

The co-main event will be #10 Michelle Waterson vs #11 Amanda Lemos in a women’s strawweight bout. This fight has some serious potential when you compare the two styles.
