UFC Fight Night Holloway vs Allen Fight Card

UFC Fight Night Holloway vs Allen fight card is next to take the stage for the UFC. The event is airing live on ESPN+ from Kansas City at the T-Mobile Center. ESPN and ESPN+ are playing host with prelims kicking off at 4:30 pm CDT on Saturday, April 15.

Main Event

In the main event, MMA legend #2 Max Holloway takes on rising star #4 Arnold Allen. Correspondingly this featherweight match will have huge implications for a title shot. It’s a tale of a rising star meeting the division gatekeeper or an MMA legend who looks to once again ascend the mountaintop.

Max ‘Blessed’ Holloway may have 7 losses, but 5 of them have come from just two men, Volkanovski and Poirier. Few have a resume stacked quite as well as Max Holloway’s. He has traded leather with some of the best in the business and boasts nearly half of his wins by way of KO.

Across the octagon from Halloway will be a featherweight on the rise, with a 12-fight win streak in Aronld ‘Almighty’ Allen. Allen has wins over some elite fighters and comes off of back-to-back KOs against top talent Dan Hooker and Calvin Kattar. This will make for an undoubtedly highly competitive matchup and could easily have been a co-main event on pay-per-view if this were any other year.

A seriously intriguing bout with huge title implications.

Co-main event

At the co-main event, Edson Barboza #14 takes on Billy Quarantillo in another featherweight bout.

Edson ‘Junior’ Barboza is undoubtedly ready to get back into the win column after suffering back-to-back losses to Giga Chikadze (by KO/TKO) and Bryce Mitchell (unanimous decision). With 7 first-round finishes, Barboza can indeed present a problem to anyone in the division. Be on the lookout for some especially high-level striking from Barboza in this matchup.

Billy Quarantillo will undoubtedly be just as hungry as he looks to put a string of wins together after his 2nd round KO/TKO of Alexander Hernandez. A string of wins is a feat this fighter hasn’t been able to obtain since Gavin Tucker edged out a decision against him in 2020.
