UFC 148 Anderson Silva vs Chael Sonnen: Matchups and Weigh In Video

So with the most anticipated rematch, possibly in UFC history, only a day away it’s time to post the stare downs and give you all the heads up on what is a very stacked card for tomorrow.  It would be tough to call yourself a mma fan if you let this event pass by without taking note.  This Saturday, July 07 at 7pm/10pm PT/ET from Las Vegas, Nevada at the MGM Grand Garden Arena will air live on Pay-per-View the rematch that so many fans have been looking forward to since their first fight in August of 2010.

The first match had mma fans bear witness to what appeared to be the first chink in the armor of a man who so many believed indomitable.  Chael Sonnen took the fight to Anderson ‘The Spider’ Silva in a way that none in the UFC had done before or since.  It was Chael that appeared to be writing the blue print on how to dethrone the pound for pound greatest in the UFC.  Anderson would simply not go quietly into that good night though after being dominated for four round Anderson again found himself on his back with the wrestler raining blows on him when he threw a triangle on Chael that made the challenger give up what would have been a no brainer decision.

Both men are now motivated like never before and ready to prove once and for all who will dominate the heap in the UFC middleweight division.  Also the rubber band match will meet its conclusion as two legends of the sport, Tito Ortiz and Forest Griffin, will meet for the third, and more than likely, final time.  Tune in or be doomed to hear all about it without getting to witness this monumental event.
