The PFL Challenger Series week 3 results, 2023 are in. The event went live from Universal Studios in Orlando, FL on February 10, 2023. This one featured heavyweights looking for a spot in the popular promotion, and the even aired live on Fubo Sports.
In the four fights scheduled to go down, all but one made it to judges. Overall there were excellent performances, but it was down to Abraham Bably and Louie Sutherland for the contract. Despite the other weeks, this one did not have to involve a tie breaker from PFL president Ray Sefo, as fans and panelists agreed that Abraham Bably would represent this years challenger, heavyweights in the PFL regular season and a shot at the $1 million prize.
Despite other judges being entertaining, it was a welcome change having judges who were former combat sports professionals. With any luck the PFL got good reception from this change up, particularly so we can look forward to hearing from people who know what it takes to be successfully in MMA. Occasionally, hearing sound advise coming from successful veterans.
