The Bellator 284 weigh ins are all accounted for and only a few fighters missed their marks. The event takes place Friday, August 12 from the Sanford Pentagon in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Prelims begin at 6:00 PM ET and the main card goes live at 9:00 PM ET.

The main event is USA native Neiman Gracie (11-3-0) taking on Brazilian Goiti Yamauchi (27-5-0) in the welterweight division. Gracie is looking to make a statement since his decision loss to Logan Storley earlier this year. Yamauchi may prove difficult however, having stopped his last two opponents in the first round.

The co-main event is Russian fighter Valentin Moldavsky (11-2-0) vs Steve Mowry (10-0-0) in the heavyweight division. Moldavsky was on a tear in the division, before his January loss to Ryan Bader, in a five round decision. Not only does Mowry remain undefeated, he has finished every fighter he’s met in Bellator, with only one fighter making it out of the first round.

Here’s a video, courtesy of Bellator MMA, of the weigh ins. Below that, are the remaining Bellator 284 weigh ins.

UFC Vegas 11: Press Conference; Covington and Woodley

UFC Vegas 11, press conference took place Thursday, September 17th 2020, however, the main event fighters took the stage on a solo basis and remained pretty political. While Woodley refused to answer any questions in depth, instead responding only with the Black Lives Matter mantra, Covington donned a Keep America Great hat and discussed admiration for the current administration. It was quite an odd press conference to say the least.

Tune in to ESPN + to see these two go head to head this Saturday, September 19, 2020, from the UFC Apex Center in Las Vegas, prelims begin at 4:00pm CDT.
