UFC 276 Results

The UFC 276 results are in, the night lived up to the hype. Two titles were both successfully defended. A legend in the sport retired on a loss. The event took place in the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on Saturday, July 2, 2022.

On the main card, the fight with Adesanya vs Cannonier for the middleweight title went to the score cards, where Adesanya did enough to win the judges favor.

The co-main event was for the featherweight championship. In this one, Volkanovski met with the always game Holloway for the third time. They’ve had close matches before, but Volkanovski proved to be too much for Holloway again, getting the decision win from the former champion.

Alex Pereira took out Sean Strickland, early on the main card. His first round knockout, as well as his kickboxing history against the Stylebender, setup Pereira to be Adesanya’s next challenge.

Sean O’Malley vs Pedro Munhoz was looking like it was going to be quite the contest. However, after an O’Malley unintentional eye poke, the fight had to be stopped when Munhoz couldn’t recover and the fight was ruled a no contest.

Here’s the entire UFC Post Fight Press Conference courtesy of the UFC:

UFC Fight Night Kattar vs Emmett Results, a Night of Knockouts

UFC Fight Night Kattar vs Emmett results are in the record books, after the June 18, 2022 event completed in Austin, TX. Some great performances went down. Performance of the night is likely the most difficult judging for the evening, as knockout after knockout kept rolling in for the night.. Yanez for his dismantling of Kelley and Rodriguez immediately after put it to Marquez in another round 1 knockout.

On a somber note, Donald Cerrone vs Joe Lauzon was cancelled, this time on the Lauzon side, due to a knee injury. You’ll likely hear more developments on this story as we wait to hear from the UFC with a rescheduled date, or however they plan on proceeding. Kevin Holland vs Tim Means took the Co-Main event space and Holland showed excellent striking and finished in the 2nd round with a D’Arce choke.

The main event, Kattar vs Emmett, went to the later rounds. It looked as if Emmett was interested in putting Kattar down with one shot and Kattar was happy working at range. This fight was one of few that ended up going the distance, but it was Emmett who would ultimately win over the judges with a split decision victory.

UFC 274: Oliviera vs Gaethje: Results

It was a big night for UFC 274 and the results are in! The Footprint Center in Phoenix, AZ housed a great night of action. The night was headlined by Lightweight champion Charles Oliviera vs #1 contender Justin Gaethje. Oliviera missed weight, by just half a pound, and forfeited his title before he even got into the octagon. If Gaethje won, he would be the new UFC Lightweight champion. If Oliviera won, he would have to fight for the vacated title against the #1 contender at that time.

Donald Cerrone (36-16-0, 2NC) vs Joe Lauzon (28-16-0) – Cancelled

Word came down that Donald Cerrone was out due to a non-Covid related illness, which bumped Welterweight bout Randy Brown vs Khaos Williams over to the main card. That fight went the distance, but the competition was worthy to be on a main card and an incredible come back victory.

Michael Chandler #5 (22-7-0) vs Tony Ferguson #7 (26-7-0) Results

MIchael Chandler vs Tony Ferguson ended in an amazing 2nd round front kick KO victory that should secure performance of the night. Chandler went on to call out the division champ, but said he would settle for Connor McGreggor at 170lbs if the UFC declined his request.

Rose Namajunas #c (12-4-0) vs Carla Esparza #2 (19-6-0) – Results

Rose looked to continue division domination in preparation for the possibility of a Jessica Andrade rubber band match. The fight ended up being a 5 round light sparring match that left everyone scratching their heads. For the entire five rounds, the total strikes for both women combined was just 68, and 3 total takedowns.

Charles Oliveira #c (32-8-0) vs Justin Gaethje #1 (24-3-0) – Results

Main event Charles Oliveira vs Justin Gaethje was more than enough to make up for the prior match. Oliveira finished Gaethje before the end of the first round, but the back and forth in the short time was could have been either fighters night. A rear naked choke put the champ back in position to regain his belt after missing weight. After his match he called out the big ticket draw, Connor McGreggor.

UFC Fight Night Font vs Vera Results

A great night for UFC Fight Night Font vs Vera results are in. A big match in the Bantamweight division as the #8 ranked Marlon Vera fought #5 ranked Rob Font. Aljamain Sterling is the current champion in the Bantamweight division and nobody called him out after the match. It looked as if Font won the first round and nearly the second until Vera dropped him near the end of that round. Afterward, Vera just kept having opportunities where he would hurt Font but did not follow up for the finish. It seemed a little off.
