UFC Fight Night Blaydes vs Aspinall Fight Card

UFC London Blaydes vs Aspinall Fight Card fan art.

It’s the UFC Fight Night Blaydes vs Aspinall fight card coming to London in the O2 Arena. This Saturday July 23, with the main card airing at 1:00 PM CDT.

This one features the big boys, when #4 ranked heavyweight Curtis Blaydes takes on #6 Tom Aspinall in the main event. Blaydes looks to make it three in a row with his impressive 2nd round knockout against Daukaus last March.

Aspinall has other plans however. This rising star has finished everyone of his last five opponents within the first round, with the exception of Arlovski who was submitted in the second round. This fight should have serious title implications for the current champion Francis Ngannou.

The co-main event will be #8 middleweight, Jack Hermansson vs #9 Chris Curtis. Hermansson will look to move forward in the rankings after suffering a split decision loss vs Strickland this February.

Meanwhile, Chris Curtis looks to continue his win streak and show off the heavy hands that have netted 2 of his last three wins by way of KO/TKO.

It looks like a pretty entertaining fight card the UFC is putting on for it’s London fans. Here’s a video from the UFC featuring top finishes from UFC London fighters. Check the rest of the card out below for the remaining UFC London card.

UFC Fight Night Ortega vs Rodriguez Results

UFC on ABC 3 Results fan art

The UFC Fight Night Ortega vs Rodriguez results are in. It was an entertaining…day? That’s right, the fights went on much earlier than usual. The event went down Saturday, July 16, 2022 from the UBS Arena in Elmont, NY.

Headlining the card was #2 Brian Ortega vs #3 Yair Rodriguez. With big title implications the fighters came out busy. The fight had it’s back and forths but it was Yair Rodriguez who came out with the win. It was in the second round that Ortega was escaping an arm bar and somehow dislocated his shoulder stopping the fight via TKO.

The co-main event was #10 Michelle Waterson-Gomez vs #11 Amanda Lemos in the women’s strawweight division. This highly anticipated fight came on the heels of a Lemos loss in which she was taken out by one of the UFC’s top 10 Female fighters, Jessica Andrade. Lemos looked sharp today, however, when she got the second round submission win over the “Karate Hottie”. The referee didn’t notice the tap out but Lemos released and Michelle did not object to the fact. Two amazing athletes and people.

The remaining fights on the card were also highly entertaining. Dustin Jacoby pulled off a first round KO against Da-Un Jung that many believed an early stoppage, (though we disagree). Schnell vs Sumudaerji was one of the most entertaining fights of the year. Li Jingliang is a star worth watching. Check below the post fight press conference, courtesy of the UFC, for the remaining results.

UFC Fight Night Ortega vs Rodriguez Results

Main Card (aired at 1:00 PM CDT on ESPN and ESPN +)

Brian Ortega #2 (15-3-0, 1NC), (-165) vs Yair Rodriguez #3 (15-3-0, 1NC), (+140) – featherweight bout – Rodriguez Round 2 TKO

Michelle Waterson #10 (18-10-0) vs Amanda Lemos #11 (12-2-1) – women’s strawweight bout – Lemos Round 2 submission

Li Jingliang #14 (19-7-0) vs Muslim Salkihov (18-3-0) – welterweight bout – Jingliang Round 2 KO/TKO

Matt Schnell #8 (16-6-0) vs Sumudaerji #11 (16-5-0) – flyweight bout – Round 3 Submission

Shane Burgos #14 (15-3-0) vs Charles Jourdain (13-5-1) – featherweight bout – Burgos by Split decision

Lauren Murphy #3 (16-5-0) vs Miesha Tate #10 (19-9-0) – women’s flyweight bout – Murphy by unanimous decision

Prelims (aired on ESPN & ESPN + at 10:00 AM CDT)

Punahele Soriano (9-2-0) vs Dalcha Lungiambula (11-5-0) – middleweight bout – Soriano by 2nd round KO/TKO

Ricky Simon #11 (20-3-0) vs Jack Shore #14 (16-1-0) – bantamweight bout – Simon by 2nd round submission

Bill Algeo (16-6-0) vs Bill Quarantillo (16-5-0) – featherweight bout – Algeo by 2nd round KO/TKO

Dustin Jacoby #15 (18-5-1) vs Da-Un Jung (15-3-1) – light heavyweight bout – Jacoby by 1st round KO/TKO

Dwight Grant (11-6-0) vs Dustin Stoltzfus (14-4-0) – middleweight bout – Stoltzfus by Unanimous decision

Jessica Penne #14 (14-7-0) vs Emily Ducote (1-0-0) – women’s strawweight bout – Ducote by Unanimous decision

That’s it for the UFC Fight Night Ortega vs Rodriguez results. UFC Long Island lived up to the hype and the matches saw many fighters stocks rise. Be on the lookout for some rising talent making their marks. If Jourdain gets his ground game skills up it’ll be hard to match his striking output.

UFC Fight Night Ortega vs Rodriguez Fight Card

UFC Fight Night Ortega vs Rodriguez fight card fan art

The UFC Fight Night Ortega vs Rodriguez fight card is all set to go down Saturday, July 16, 2022 at the UBS Arena in Elmont, NY. This one is headlined by two top 5 contenders in the featherweight division, #2 Brian Ortega faces off against #3 Yair Rodriguez.

Alexander Volkanovski would be a likely opponent for the winner, based on rankings, however, Ortega and Volkanovski met in September of last year, where Volkanovski won by a unanimous decision. It could be worth running that back and see if they can keep it out of the judges hands.

The co-main event will be #10 Michelle Waterson vs #11 Amanda Lemos in a women’s strawweight bout. This fight has some serious potential when you compare the two styles. Michelle “The Karate Hottie” Waterson throws some excellent Karate style strikes whereas Lemos is a very talented striker and even had a Top Ten Female UFC Fighter on her heels, before an amazing standing arm triangle came from Andrade stopping the fight in her last appearance.

Here’s a free fight video, courtesy of the UFC, of Brian Ortega vs Cub Swanson. Below the video is the full fight card for the upcoming event.

UFC Vegas 58 Results

UFC Vegas 58 Results fan art

The UFC Vegas 58 results are official and the event has come to its conclusion. Cynthia Calvillo vs Nina Nunes was called off due to a stomach virus from Nunes. Other than that, the fights were highly entertaining and it’s another feather in the UFC’s cap.

The main event of the night featured top ten lightweights, Rafael Dos Anjos vs Rafael Fiziev. The fight was a great back and forth. In fact, going into the final round it was still anybody’s fight. However a big right hand of Fiziev spelled doom for RDA and the fight was ended by knock out.

The co-main event featured up and comers in the middleweight division, Caio Borralho vs Armen Petrosyan. This fight saw Caio pushing to take it to the ground where he had the obvious advantage. Caio dominated with takedowns and a large portion of the first two rounds stayed on the ground and likely aided to his unanimous decision victory.

Here is the post fight press conference, courtesy of the UFC, for your entertainment. Below that you will see all the results for each match.

UFC Fight Night Poll Dos Anjos vs Fiziev

UFC Vegas 58 Poll

We want to hear your thoughts on who will win with the UFC Fight Night poll Dos Anjos vs Fiziev, the fights are scheduled to take place Saturday, July 9th from the UFC APEX in Las Vegas.

Currently, Dos Anjos is ranked the #7 lightweight in the UFC and Fiziev is coming at #10. Both fighters have put together a win streak, with Dos Anjos winning his last two and Fiziev his last five. The real difference here is how those wins have come. Where Dos Anjos has had 7 of his last fights go to the judges, Fiziev has more of an even split. Fiziev got the KO/TKO in his Dec ’21 last match against Riddell. That fight went to the third round, where Fiziev proved he was still more than dangerous.

Here’s a promotional video, to wet the appetites, of the upcoming event, courtesy of the UFC:

UFC Fight Night Dos Anjos vs Fiziev Fight Card

UFC Vegas 58 Fight Card

UFC Fight Night Dos Anjos vs Fiziev fight card is revealed, and this one will headline two top ten contenders in the lightweight division. Airing Saturday, July 9 at 8:00 PM CDT from the UFC APEX in Las Vegas.

The #7 Rafael Dos Anjos is attempting to put a string of wins together as he has won his last two. It would be unlikely that Dos Anjos finishes his opponent, as seven of his last eight fights have gone to the judges.

Fiziev is the favored here as he is currently on a five fight win streak. Coming off of a round three KO/TKO over Riddell, Fiziev looks to increase his #10 ranking and work toward a championship fight. The belt is currently un-held since Oliveira missed weight at UFC 274 when he submitted Justin Gaethje in the first round.

Also on the fight card, Caio Borralho takes on “Superman” Armen Petrosyan in a middleweight bout. The hype has been pretty high for Borralho and these fighters may be the perfect test to see who will be the future of the division.

Here’s a promotional video for the event, courtesy of the UFC, for UFC Vegas 58. Below that is the entire fight card.

UFC 276 Results

UFC 276 Results

The UFC 276 results are in, the night lived up to the hype. Two titles were both successfully defended. A legend in the sport retired on a loss. The event took place in the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on Saturday, July 2, 2022.

On the main card, the fight with Adesanya vs Cannonier for the middleweight title went to the score cards, where Adesanya did enough to win the judges favor.

The co-main event was for the featherweight championship. In this one, Volkanovski met with the always game Holloway for the third time. They’ve had close matches before, but Volkanovski proved to be too much for Holloway again, getting the decision win from the former champion.

Alex Pereira took out Sean Strickland, early on the main card. His first round knockout, as well as his kickboxing history against the Stylebender, setup Pereira to be Adesanya’s next challenge.

Sean O’Malley vs Pedro Munhoz was looking like it was going to be quite the contest. However, after an O’Malley unintentional eye poke, the fight had to be stopped when Munhoz couldn’t recover and the fight was ruled a no contest.

Here’s the entire UFC Post Fight Press Conference courtesy of the UFC:

UFC 276 fight poll is here with just days left before the event gets underway. The events don’t come any larger than this one, as there will be two UFC title defenses taking place on July 2, 2022 live from the T-Mobile arena in Las Vegas, NV.

The UFC’s #3 pound for pound best, Israel Adesanya, will be defending his middleweight tile against the #2 contender Jared Cannonier. Cannonier proves to be a dangerous opponent, having stopped 10 of his 15 wins by way of knockout. Meanwhile, Adesanya looks to cement a legacy in the division and the sport.

The other title fight? That’s the UFC’s #2 pound for pound fighter, Alexander Volkanovski, as he will attempt to defend the featherweight belt against #1 competitor Max Holloway. This will be the third meeting these two have had in the octagon and by no means does anyone expect a dull evening.

Do the odds makers have this one right? There have been a lot of titles changing hands here lately so it seems that nothing will surprise us anymore. The only thing that’s certain is that the UFC has an awesome night of fights coming up.

If you want to catch the action it all starts live at 5:00 PM CDT on the UFC Fight Pass. Be sure to check back the UFC News page to see all of our updates on UFC events as they come in.
