Bellator 284 Results

Bellator 284 Results fan art

The Bellator 284 results are in. The event went down in Sioux Falls, South Dakota 8/12/2022.

The main event of the fight featured what everyone believed would be a grappling match between two high level grapplers. What the fans got was a striking clinic put on by Yamauchi, which concluded in a round 2 uppercut which shut the lights out for Nieman Gracie. Yamauchi continues with three 1st round stoppages in a row.

The co-main event featured a highly anticipated heavyweight bout with one fighter remaining undefeated. Moldavsky vs Mowry left more questions that it answered however, as an unintentional eye poke left the bout a no contest in the first round of the match.

The remaining results are posted below the prelims video, courtesy of Bellator MMA.

Bellator 283 Weigh Ins

Bellator 283 Weigh Ins fan art

Also missing weight, two fighters on the prelim card, Mark Coates and Kevin Bohem. Both fighters also sitting at near misses with Boehm coming in 1.6lbs over and Coates missing by 1.8lbs.

Bellator 281 Results (MVP vs Logan Storley)

Bellator 281 results are in. Michael ‘Venom’ Page vs Logan Storley for the Welterweight title was the main event of the night. Storley ended up topping the judges score cards as this bout went the distance. The crowd at the O2 Arena began to boo the newly crowned Welterweight champion, due in large to the fact that he controlled MVP with wrestling that only assured control over his opponent but never threatened a submission or put his opponent in danger.

Lyoto Machida vs Fabian Edwards was the co-main event of the evening. This fight was the opposite of the main event. The pressure put on by Fabian Edwards had Machida unable to get his bearings.
