Bellator 293 Fight Card

The Bellator 293 Fight Card is set to go down this Friday March 31st from the Pechanga Resort Casino in Temecula, CA. The fights air on Showtime with prelims airing at 4:00pm PT.

Main Event

The main event features heavyweight fighters Marcelo Golm vs Daniel James in the heavyweight division.

Marcelo Golm is coming off of a 3rd round submission against Davion Franklin in July of last year. He has 10 wins and 3 losses on his record and 7 wins are by KO and 3 are by submission. If he has it his way this fight will surely stay out of the judges hands.

Daniel ‘The Predator’ James is coming off of a TKO at Bellator 288 in November of last year. Daniel James has a similar record with 14-6 and 13 of those wins were by stoppage. It certainly doesn’t appear that these two will be in for a very long night.

Co-main Event

Before the big boys step in the cage, the co-main event will feature Cat Zingano taking on Leah McCourt in the women’s featherweight division.

Cat ‘Alpha’ Zingano is ready for her next appearance since her decision win over Pam Sorenson at Bellator 282 in June of last year. The fighter is putting a string of victories together and will undoubtedly be motivated to continue the trend.

Leah ‘The Curse’ McCourt is also coming off of a decision win over Dayana Silva in September of last year at Bellator 285. This Irish fighter will indeed have her work cut out for her as she comes in as the underdog for this bout.
