The Bellator 289 fight card is ready to throw down this Friday December 9, 2022 with prelims at 5:25pm ET and the main card at 9:00pm ET from the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, CT. The main card headlines two title fights, Interim Champion Raufeon Stots vs Danny Sabatello for the bantamweight title and champion Liz Carmouche vs Juliana Velasquez for the women’s flyweight championship.

In the headline event, Stots vs Sabatello, Stots will likely try to utilize his wrestling to neutralize the striking of the trash talking Danny Sabatello. Sabatello fights out of the renowned American Top Team and has been on a run of his own in the division. Here’s a brief video, courtesy of the PFL, showcasing the main fights.

The always impressive, Liz Carmouche looks to defend her title against Juliana Velasquez in the co-main event. Carmouche should be the favorite in this one as she most recently TKO’d Juliana in her last bout in April. Below is a new treat from Bellator, they have employed the talented Chael Sonnen to do some of the fight promoting on his viral channel. Below the video is the remaining Bellator 289 fight card.
