UFC Fight Night Orlando fan art.

The UFC Orlando fight card, Thompson vs Holland is set to go down live Saturday, December 3rd from the Amway Center in Orlando. The prelims will air on ESPN+ at 6pm CST, the main card goes live at 9pm CST.

The main event has #6 welterweight Stephen ‘Wonderboy’ Thompson facing off against Kevin ‘Trailblazer’ Holland. Both fan favorite fighters are looking to put a win in the column after suffering a loss at their last fights. If you have never had the chance to check out Wonderboy’s Youtube channel then you’re missing out some of the best Youtube entertainment around. Considering that there is no real UFC posted promotional videos for this fight, yet. we’ve decided to include some of the Wondercamp videos put out by Thompson in preparation for this match.

UFC Vegas 65 Results

UFC Vegas 65 fan art

The night went off without a hitch and the UFC Vegas 65 results are in. UFC Vegas 65, Lewis vs Spivac, should have headlined the event. A non-covid, non-weight cut illness caused Lewis to pull out of the event at the last minute. The co-main event was moved up. It featured two light heavyweight fighters Nzechukwu vs Cutelaba. Kennedy Nzechukwu, the slightly favored fighter, coming off of a 3rd KO at his last showing. Ion Cutelaba was coming off of back to back losses. It was maybe not the headline the fans were after, but the fighters rose to the challenge and put on a great show.

In the first round of the main event, Ion Cutelaba looked to be the better prepared fighter. He was relentless with his takedowns and defended one from Kennedy Nzechukwu. The Nigerian, Nzechukwu, turned on the heat in the second round. The end for Cutelaba began with a knee that rocked him early in the round. Nzechukwu turned the heat up further, and after many unanswered strikes, the referee had seen enough and called it at 1:02 of round 2.

Here’s the post-fight press conference, courtesy of the UFC. The remainder of the UFC Vegas 65 results can be seen below. Some audio issues happen about halfway through Kennedy’s interview.

Bellator 288 Results

Bellator 288 Results fan art

The Bellator 288 results are in the books. This one was on fire in the prelims. Nearly every fight in the main card went the distance with the exception of Daniel James’ TKO win.

Nemkov vs Anderson finally answered the questions left in their last fight. Nemkov proved to be the better rounded fighter on this night. He was able to stop Andersons’ takedowns, and offer some good striking that was being really felt by Anderson. In the end the judges got this one right giving Nemkov the decision

A sweep for the Russian fighters tonight. That’s right Patricky Pitbull will not be taking the $1million home as he was dominated by Usman Nurmagomdeov. Usman looks like his time may come to be called up to the UFC if he continues to perform at this level. Being the brother Khabib Nurmagomedov he may be in need of tougher competition.

Bellator 288 Fight Card

Bellator 288 Fight Card Fan Art

The Bellator 288 fight card is set to go down this Friday, November 18, 2022 live from the Wintrust Arena in Chicago, IL. This fight card features two title fights, when light heavyweight champion Vadim Nemkov faces Corey Anderson, and lightweight champion Patricky Pitbul faces the undefeated Usman Nurmagomedov.

The light heavyweight champion, Vadim Nemkov and Corey Anderson faced each other in April of this year at Bellator 277. That fight was ruled a no contest after an unintentional headbutt ended the fight. Many questions will hopefully get answered when these two meet again.

The lightweight championship will also be up for grabs when champion Patricky Pitbull meets undefeated Usman Nurmagomedov. The champion is back to defend his belt after a year away. Nurmagomedov looks to continue his impressive, three in a row, first round stoppages. Ring rust could play a factor but if the champs fight camp holds up then we should be in for a great contest.

UFC 281 Results

UFC 281 Adesanya vs Pereira results fan art

The UFC 281 results are in for Adesanya vs Pereira. The event where two titles have changed hands. That’s right, Adesanya tasted defeat at the hands of Pereira an astounding third time. Weili had an outstanding performance, against the now former strawweight champion, securing a second round stoppage. It was indeed a great night for UFC and fight fans worldwide November 12th, 2022.

The first title fight, in the men’s middleweight division, featured a fighter with one of the UFC’s longest running win streaks, against a challenger that had already bested him on two other occasions (albeit in a different sport). The fight was appearing to go to the champion, in fact he nearly had the fight finished at the final second of the first round. But it was Pereira, with a late round 5 rally, who poured it on and found his opponents chin. Adesanya looked hurt but was still on his feet weaving but the referee saw enough and called a stop to the bout, at 2:01 of round 5 by TKO and new middleweight champion, Alex Pereira.

The second title fight, the women’s strawweight championship, both fighters were well positioned to hold the belt in a stacked division. The first round was a well paced back and forth with both fighters having good moments. The second round, however, had chinese fighter Weili set up a nice right hand that stunned the former champion. After an unsuccesful Esparza takedown attempt, Weili jumped on a crucifix choke and finished the submission, securing a new women’s strawweight champion.

Here’s a video of the UFC 281: Post-Fight Press Conference, courtesy of the UFC. Below that are the remaining the UFC 281 results.
