UFC 277 Results

UFC 277 Results fan art

The UFC 277 results have come to conclusion from the American Airlines Center in Dallas, TX. Saturday, July 30, 2022 Amanda Nunes recaptured the crown and Brandon Moreno secured an interim title.

That’s right, Julianna Pena was not able to secure her first title defense when “The Lioness” took Pena to the clinic. In the second round Nunes dropped Pena on three occasions with strikes. If that weren’t enough Nunes found success on 6 out of 8 takedown attempts. Nobody was disputing the judges decisions on this fight. Check the impact to our top 10 Female UFC Fighters article.

Brandon Moreno will meet Deiveson Figueiredo after his third round TKO over #2 ranked opponent Kai Kara France. The fight was close leading into the third round and it was going in France’s favor until a Moreno liver kick found its mark and subsequent follow up had Herb Dean calling it 4:34 of round 3.

Here’s the post fight press conference, courtesy of the UFC. Below that are all the nights matchup results.

UFC London Results

UFC London Results fan art

The UFC London Results are in, Blaydes vs Aspinall has come to an anti-climactic conclusion. The event went down Saturday, July 23 from the O2 Arena in London.

Chris Curtis vs Tom Aspinall was the main event. The fight was just getting started within the first 20 seconds of the first round Aspinall took a bad step or something and his knee gave out causing the fight to be over… Surely this will be ran back but time will tell.

Jack Hermansson kept the fight standing in the co-main event against Chris Curtis. Curtis was extremely frustrated through the fight as Hermansson’s game plan appeared to be a surprise for Curtis, and enough to get him the unanimous decision.

Paddy Pimblett vs Jordan Leavitt had a bit of back and forth first round, where it became evident Pimblett wanted to stand and Leavitt wanted to grapple. The second round began and after they continued implementing each strategy, Pimblett found himself able to secure a rear naked choke after some transition.

Molly McCann came out with a big first round KO victory over her opponent Hannah Goldy. At 3:52 of the first round Molly had secured her knockout victory with nearly no time spent on the matt due to excellent take down defense. It was her striking, however, that setup Goldy for the knockout and added another spinning elbow to her highlight reel.

Nearly all of the fights in the prelims went to the judges except for one. Jonathan “JSP” Pearce showcased some defense on the ground and ended up getting the KO/TKO in R2 when he poured on the damage against Makwan Amirkhani in a featherweight bout.

Here’s the UFC London Post fight press conference, courtesy of the UFC, below that are all the events results.

Bellator 283 Weigh Ins

Bellator 283 Weigh Ins fan art

The Bellator 283 weigh ins are calculated. A bit of a disappointment here when three fighters missed weight, including one of the main event fighters.

Douglas Lima missed by just 1.8 pounds when he exceeded the 171lb weight limit for the division. Lima is coming off a three fight loss streak and this will undoubtedly hurt his pay day. Jason Jackson came in right at 171.

Also missing weight, two fighters on the prelim card, Mark Coates and Kevin Bohem. Both fighters also sitting at near misses with Boehm coming in 1.6lbs over and Coates missing by 1.8lbs.

Here’s a promotional clip, courtesy of Bellator, for the upcoming event. Below that are the remaining weigh in results.
