UFC Vegas 56: Volkov vs Rozenstruik Fight Card

UFC Vegas 56: Volkov vs Rozenstruik fight card is announced. It has been more than a week since fight fans have been able to catch some MMA action and the UFC looks to deliver this Saturday, June 4, live from the APEX arena in Las Vegas, NV.

The main card headlines with top ten Heavyweights Alexander Volkov vs Jairzinho Rozenstruik. Both fighters are coming off a recent loss. Volkov lost by round 1 submission to Aspinall just last March, and Rozenstruik lost a decision to Curtis Blaydes in September of last year. Both fighters should be motivated to get back into the win column and continue their advancement in the hopes of facing the championship, currently being held by Francis Ngannou.

The UFC also appears to be shaking up the Featherweight division, as the co-main event of the night will be Dan Ige vs Mosvar Enloev. Dan Ige is coming off of 2 losses in a row, and hopes that he can maintain his top ten status. Enloev is seeing his stock go the opposite direction as he looks to make this six in a row, and secure his place in the top ten, currently dominated by Alexander Volkanovski.

UFC Fight Night Holm vs Vieira Results

UFC Fight Night Holm vs Vieira results are in the books. This one had some really great moments. The main event went down between two women in the top 5 of the Women’s Bantamweight division. Both women were game fighters, it was Holm who controlled the fight with her clinch work, but Vieira found success in the separation. The fight went the distance where Vieira proved to have done enough in the judges eyes earning the split decision win. Here’s the post fight interview.

Ponzinibbio vs Pereira was the co-main event of the night and, although it went to decision, these guys put on a great show. Both men were swinging for the fences until the grueling end. In the end the fans were the true victors in this bout. Such a close fight, in the end however, it was Pereira who proved victorious.

Santiago Ponzinbbio will face Michel Pereira in a Welterweight match for the co-main event. Top ten implications in the division could arise for either fighter should they prove victorious this Saturday. Both women rank in the top 5 of the division so it will be interesting for Bantamweight champion Julianna Pena to see who comes out on top.

UFC FIGHT NIGHT: BLACHOWICZ VS RAKIC: Results

UFC Vegas 54 results are in for UFC Fight Night: Blachowicz vs Rakic. The fight was a good back and forth battle, but it was Blachowicz who ended up getting the win after a Rakic misstep resulted in some bad reaction in his knee and fell to the matt with the fight over. Blachowicz went on to interview with Bisping, when Bisping informed him that Glover would sign for a rematch if he won, giving him a chance to regain the Light-Heavyweight title.

Also, co-main headliner Ryan Spann vs Ion Cutelaba was on the card. Ryan Spann Quickly imposed his will on Cutelaba, securing a first round guillotine choke on his opponent, and propelling his ranking in the division.

Bellator 281 Results (MVP vs Logan Storley)

Bellator 281 results are in. Michael ‘Venom’ Page vs Logan Storley for the Welterweight title was the main event of the night. Storley ended up topping the judges score cards as this bout went the distance. The crowd at the O2 Arena began to boo the newly crowned Welterweight champion, due in large to the fact that he controlled MVP with wrestling that only assured control over his opponent but never threatened a submission or put his opponent in danger.

Lyoto Machida vs Fabian Edwards was the co-main event of the evening. This fight was the opposite of the main event. The pressure put on by Fabian Edwards had Machida unable to get his bearings. A smooth elbow when seperating from the clinch was all Edwards needed to drop Machida and quick few punches had Machida out cold in the first round.

Bellator 281: MVP vs Storley: Fight Card

Bellator 281: MVP vs Storley fight card is all set to go down Friday, May 13 from Ovo Arena Wembley, London UK. The main event is Michael ‘Venom’ Page vs Logan Storley for the Welterweight title.

MVP is looking to add another win to his already impressive six win streak, having only lost to Douglas Lima back in Bellator 221, which he since avenged. Meanwhile, Storley has only lost once himself, back at Bellator 252 against Yaroslay Amosov. This one should be a barn burner.

Also on the fight card, MMA veteran Lyoto Machida faces off against Fabian Edwards in a Middleweight match, and Denise Kielhotlz will meet with Kana Watanabe in a Women’s Flyweight bout. With a great mix of talent, it’s sure to be a great time in London.

UFC Fight Night: Blachowicz vs Rakic: Fight Card

UFC Fight Night Blachowicz vs Rakic is scheduled to go down in Vegas Saturday, May 14, with prelims starting at 6:30 PM CDT from the UFC APEX. The main event is #1 Light-Heavyweight contender Jan Blachowicz vs #3 Aleksandar Rakic. Blachowicz looks to get another shot at the title after his second round submission loss to champion Glover Teixeira, back in October 2021. Rakic looks to make it three wins in a row, as he has not lost since 2019. The fight makes big impacts in the Light-Heavyweight division.
